Alaskan Landscapes II

These photos are during the summer, of course I have taken so much more photos than I can possible publish on these pages, so have taken the ones I thought were worth sharing with you.

This photo is taken at Scout Lake park, located ten minutes outside of Soldotna on Sterling Highway.

This lake is not visible when you just arrive at the park, we came across it while walking through the woods, of course there was also a short cut near the parking lot, but us being the blonde bunch have never even looked for it.

My husband stumbled upon this beautiful pasture with this magnificent view while driving to work, we went back there to gaze at the magnificent beauty and of course take some pictures.

This next photo is also taken at the house at the Kenai river, the reflection of the setting sun on the trees speak for itself, another small miracle of nature.

The view of the mountains is the view you see while standing on the beach in Kenai, the icy mountains on the background are called 'The ring of fire' a circle of sleeping vulcanos.
