Drifts away on thoughts
Thoughts about the past
The pain the sorrow
The
scarves in your heart
And soul and mind
The memories of many years
Invested in vain
I
know that it is just
A matter of time
Until the pain fades
And the memories seem
Only like a bad dream
We
need the time
To heal from the mistakes
The bad choices we made
And life will continue
And
choices will be made
Bad or wrong
And we will learn again
From the mistakes we make
But
one thing is certain
You will always have the power
To change your situation
